Remember

Good morning.

It is the Lord’s Day, a day to rest and praise the Lord.

Today we need to remember:

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven,” (Matthew 5:13-16).

Are you one of the disciples the Lord addresses here? The Lord wants us to hear this again today and think about it, to search our hearts and see whether we actually make a difference in other people’s lives. Do our lives bring God’s love, healing, flavour and warmth to people?

Lord, hallowed be your name in and through my life, your Kingdom come in and through my life and your will be done in and through my life.

Maybe you would like to have a renewed look at the following insight into being the Salt of the Earth: http://saltprayeroffensive.blogspot.co.uk/2012_03_01_archive.html.

Thank you Lord that your Word went out from your mouth, via your servant’s pen, and it will not return to you empty, but will accomplish what you desire and achieve the purpose for which you sent it.

Please pass this on if you think others may benefit by it.
